The Gary Thompson Agency held its annual Christmas Party in Lincoln this year at the Graduate Hotel with a live viewing of the Ohio State football game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. At this event, GTA announced awards for staff that have reached and exceeded certain milestones in the agency, as well as years of service awards. These individuals excelled at the highest level this past year and are continuing to position Gary Thompson Agency as one of the premier insurance agencies in the area.
This year, the Employee of the Year award was presented to Jana Steinkruger, Client Relationship Manager, out of our Hildreth location. Jana's determination and eagerness to help out in whatever situation set her apart this year and resulted in her receiving this recognition.

The Producer of the Year award will be presented in early 2019, once all numbers have been submitted for the year. The Board of Directors not only created these awards for those excelling within the agency but also in honor of two insurance professionals from the Gary Thompson Agency that passed away in recent years: Greg Choquette and Augie Nelson.
Additionally, three Years of Service awards were handed out this year in recognition to those who have worked for five years at GTA. The three recipients were: Stacy Rasser (Red Cloud), Val Benge (Red Cloud), and Dianne Kelle (Lincoln - not pictured). Pictured below: Stacy Rasser, Krae Dutoit (President), and Val Benge.

New employees were also recognized, as this past year GTA added four agencies: Waverly, Bertrand, McCook, and Trenton, and a total of eleven new employees.

The rest of the evening proved to be a great success as employees from all over the state were given the opportunity to catch up and partake in a little friendly competition.
